Guiding growth at the right age

Early Orthodontic Treatment

Overview

Early (interceptive) orthodontics takes advantage of a child's natural growth, usually between ages 7 and 10. By guiding the development of the jaw and creating space for permanent teeth, we can reduce the severity of problems later and sometimes avoid extractions or surgery.
